MAINCORE

[edit]

Shouldn't North's connection with the FEMA MainCore database be mentioned in this article, if only briefly? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 04:00, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Convictions were vacated?

[edit]

What does this mean? Is it some sort of US legal jargon? Please explain. 2001:8003:3020:1C00:44B5:64F:37BB:7639 (talk) 07:04, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct that it is US legal jargon. It is similar to a pardon in some ways, but the prosecution reserves the right to retry the case if they choose. Details here. Cullen328 (talk) 07:14, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1986 email?

[edit]

Please explain this. How? Thought that was still the era of telex. 203.221.97.184 (talk) 05:31, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Pentagon was using e-mails by the 1980's. Rja13ww33 (talk) 21:14, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Satire in Clinton Street Quarterly

[edit]

North was memorably satirized in a centerfold comic strip in the long-defunct Clinton Street Quarterly. I am unaware of any archive of this publication, but if you are, please bring it to light. A reference to a source for it would be worth creating an In Popular Culture section to this article. Perhaps someone can find it, scan it, and add it to the Internet Archive.
